urmeric is an ancient spice dating back 4000 years to the Vedic Culture in India. In East Africa it is as recent as 800AD. Curcumin, a powerful antioxidant that gives turmeric its golden colour, has potent anti-inflammatory properties which transform to various health benefits. Turmeric is also rich in manganese, zinc, B group vitamins and iron, which can help support a healthy metabolism.
